And the day finally came - No More Days To Go…

So there I was, getting out of bed, ready to become a father. Yes, today is the 18th of March, the date Mama will give birth.

Everything was going fine, the clock was ticking, the minutes passing; I was waiting for my wife to say: “It’s started, my labors started”.

And the minutes went, the hours went, and soon the day went and nothing happened.

Major disappointment, nothing happened. Here I was, all geared up, fresh and ready to go to the delivery room and then nothing happened.

The mid wife did tell us that the majority of first-time mothers go past their due date, but I was sure that was only valid for all the other first-time mothers. In my house everything is scheduled, we don’t have delays and unexpected events. Not in Papa’s house.

So dear readers of Papa’s Diary.com, stay tuned as I (we) wait for Mama to stop being lazy and give birth to Papa Junior

(Note to Mama: You will find a discrete hint in the above sentence).
